1 Leave a comment on paragraph 1 0 This publication is a product of a collaboration that started in the fall of 2010 when a total of eighty New School faculty, librarians, students and staff came together to think about teaching and learning with digital media. These conversations inspired this publication, which will be disseminated under a Creative Commons license as printed book, webpage, and free download for eReaders like the Kindle or the iPad. Sections of this book will be tweeted.

2 Leave a comment on paragraph 2 0 The New School, which offered the first degree programs in Media Studies and Graphic Design in the United States, is a leading institution when it comes to incorporating cross-disciplinary digital learning into the curriculum. This publication reaffirms the commitment of the university to interdisciplinary innovation by drawing collaborators from across many divisions.
